i was almost going to give a good review, but the bed was absolutely jiggly, how hard is it to have decent mattresses. also, limited parking? unreal. expecting a complimentary bottle of wine for my troubles instead of being treated like every other guest is just too much to ask.

Had a fantastic time with friends! The breakfast was a real treat, and we loved exploring the nearby trails. We saw squirrels and cardinals, making our nature walks a joy. Don't miss the antique shops around. they're a treasure! Perfect for relaxation and fun every season, especially during fall events like the Bigfoot convention.
While we enjoyed our stay, some activities were only available on weekends, which limited our options. It would be nice if more things were open during the week.

The Double Room was comfy and had a nice clawfoot bathtub that added charm. It was equipped with a coffee maker and a small fridge, which was super handy. Just a heads up, the room had a slight slant, making it feel a bit off when sleeping, but it didn’t ruin our stay. The quiet atmosphere and detailed decor made it feel cozy and inviting. Definitely would come back for those gourmet breakfasts and welcoming vibe!

Recommended for couples looking for a peaceful escape
We booked last minute, the hosts were super cute and made us feel like family right away. The breakfast, man, that was some of the best I've ever had, hearty and delicious, David really knows how to whip up a meal.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but for what we got, it was still worth it.

In my wife’s opinion, more activities for families would be nice.

We had a lovely stay, enjoying peaceful trails along the river and spotting colorful cardinals. The Mardi Gras room was beautifully furnished, and the hosts, David and Tammy, served a hearty breakfast that kept us fueled for our adventures. Our dog loved exploring the garden too!
My wife says that a little more privacy on the porch would have been nice.
